ST. JUDE -- "WHEELS FOR LIFE"

The date for this ride is Saturday, October 29, 2005
Located in Memphis, Tennessee, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital opened its doors in 1962. It has treated more than 17,000 patients from across America and 60 foreign countries. It is the leading research hospital in the world for treating catastrophic childhood diseases.
TBC has participated
in
this event along with the Longview Bicycle Club since 1996, and has
raised
about $4000.00. Everyone is encouraged to get corporate
sponsorship
from the companies or businesses you work for to support this worthy
cause.
You can ask friends to donate $5.00 each.
The ride starts in the parking lot at Super One on Gentry about 8:30 a.m. and heads north to Hawkins. We ride to Petty's Cafe in Hawkins, eat breakfast, then ride around Lake Hawkins, and back to Tyler. The whole ride is about 52 miles, but you can leave off the Lake Hawkins part, which is about 16 miles, or you can take your vehicle to Petty's Cafe and just do the Lake Hawkins circle.
